Things Change - But Some Just Don't

The year changes - every year. But have you ever checked the texture and historical layers of Hungarian bath culture - on your trip to Budapest? Did you, in past years, look over to the other side of Frankel Leo Street on your way to Spaaarty?

There is the original Lukacs Public Steam Bath, in its hayday Lukacs itself, now a dismantiling ruin baring the first ever ferro-concrete dome of the country.

And should you have arrived 50 years ago to plunge in what is now the experience theme pool, you would have dipped in a pool of sludge, the therapeutic mud the bath was so famous for. But if you want to experience something that is constant: arrive any Saturday to Frankel Leo Street, Budapest, and you can surely spot your right space to sparty.
